Ankita Rao is currently an editor at The Guardian where she leads a project on voting rights.
In the past she was a senior editor at VICE, a reporter at Kaiser Health News a producer at WNYC. She also reported from India for The New York Times, Quartz, Foreign Policy, Al Jazeera, The Atlantic etc. She is the recipient of grants from the Pulitzer Center and FIJ, an ONA Women’s Leadership Accelerator fellow, and a graduate of the University of Florida and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
